Rosalie J. Appleton

Rosalie J. Appleton, age 70, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 22, 2015, at Newton Memorial Hospital. Born in Montgomery, Pa., to the late Jesse H. Landman and Armella (Lowery) Landman, Mrs. Appleton grew up in the Philadelphia area before moving to New Jersey and has spent the past 15 years in Sussex County. She had been employed in the deli department at ShopRite in Franklin.

She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph E. Appleton on December 28, 1990. She is survived by her two daughters, Tiesha Appleton Lennon of Gallaway and Jo-Anne Appleton Bauer of Hilton Head, S.C., and her three grandchildren, Joseph Anthony Lennon, Codi Matthew Lennon, and Isabelle Helena Bauer.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2015, at the Pinkel Funeral Home, 31 Bank Street (Route 23), Sussex. Friends may pay their respects to the family one hour prior to the funeral service on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
