Area libraries plan March events

The Sussex County Library System recently annoucned programs that will be held in March.

The Dorothy Henry Branch in Vernon will welcome babies through toddlers (Lap Sit), ages 3-6 not in Kindergarten (preschool) and kids in Kindergarten through sixth grade (Young Makers) to join them for programs every Wednesday through March 18.

For adults, there is the "Not Just Chick Lit Book Club," meeting March 24 to discuss "The Same Sky" by Amanda Eyre, and a special presentation by Employment & Training Services of Morris, Sussex and Warren at 10 a.m. on March 25 to help people trying to reenter the workforce.

The Sussex-Wantage Branch in Wantage will host a cycle of story times and Young Makers Groups on Mondays through March 16, and a Makerspace Night that introduces inventive building and crafting for the whole family on Friday, March 20, from 4-7 p.m.
