Feb. 13Devyn Ryan, 19, of Vernon was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol after police responded to a one-car motor vehicle accident on South Shore Drive.

Officers said they saw a black Jeep involved in the crash. Police said Ryan failed field sobriety tests.

Ryan was issued a summons for driving while intoxicated and released pending a court appearance in Vernon Municipal Court.

James Boss, 46, of Highland Lakes was charged with driving while intoxicated after police said an officer saw a gray Dodge wagon drive through a red light at the corner of County Highway 515 and Route 94.

Police said, after a traffic stop, Boss failed field sobriety tests.

He was issued a summons and released pending a future appearance in Vernon Municipal Court.
