Vernon names February Special Olympics Month

VERNON — Vernon Township Council President Patrick Rizzuto presented Coach John Kelly and participant Shawn Barber with an official proclamation naming February Special Olympics Month in Vernon Township.
Each year the Special Olympics provides opportunities for special needs individuals to compete Vernon Township.
“With this proclamation, this month, February is Special Olympics month in Vernon.” said Rizzuto as he presented the certificate.
