Christie has enough hot air to thaw Boston

It has been reported that the state of New Jersey is sending snow removal help to the state of Massachusetts in return for Massachusetts' helpl after Hurricane Sandy. While I commend the N.J. Dept. of Transportation's efforts to repay this debt to the state of Massachusetts, as a Republican New Jersey tqaxpayer, I don't believe this effort is cost effective for the taxpayers of either state.

Why didn't someone in Trenton just arrange for one of Gov. Chris Christie's "friends" to fly the governor to Massachusetts in their prviate jet (no cost to the taxpayers of either state), to give a couple of hour speech.

Surely the amount of hot air emanating from a couple of hour speech by Gov. Christie could potentially have melted more snow and ice from Massachusetts' roads than this crew of more than 25 pieces of snow-fighting equipmenta nd 36 N.J. Dept. of Transportation workers could possibly remove even if they stayed in Mass achusetts for several months. No insult to the N.J. DOT workers intended.

Additionally, it would have gotten Gov. Christie out of New Jersey outside the state of New Jersey, where the governor apparently prefers to be.

Two questions: To get to Massachusetts, did the N.J. DOT crew use the George Washington Bridge? If so, how amny hours did it take to get thema cross the bridge?
