NEWTON — John McDaniel scored a game-high 20 points, leading Newton to a 57-52 win over High Point on Thursday, Feb. 12, at Newton High School.
McDaniel also grabbed six rebounds, while Aidan Black scored 15 points and grabbed six rebounds for Newton (13-4).
Jack DeGroot and John Numann scored 17 points each for the Wildcats (9-11).
