The Newton Theatre presents the classic children’s tale, Rumpelstiltskin on Saturday, March 21 for two performances, at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

The story features Daisy, who can spin gold from straw, and a strange little man called Rumpelstiltskin. When the greedy King locks Daisy in a stable and demands that she turn all the straw into gold, Daisy feels doomed until Rumpelstiltskin appears and promises to spin the straw into gold — in exchange for her necklace. The King is delighted but locks her up again, wanting twice as much straw to spin. Find out if the magical Rumpelstiltskin returns to help Daisy.

This show, for children of all ages, is filled with clap-along songs and audience participation. The colorful stage set and comical cast of characters help bring this tale to life.

All seats are $15. Purchase tickets by visiting www.thenewtontheatre.com or contact the Box Office at 973-383-3700.
