Vernon HS DECA sets record for competition wins

VERNON — The 2015 North Gold Regional Conference was a tremendous success for the Vernon DECA Chapter.
About 240 students traveled to Ramapo College to compete, and a school-record 91 qualified to compete in the state Career Development Conference at the end of February.
Special recognition goes to the following students who were the winners of their events: Zachary Alter, Automotive Services Marketing; Megan DeVries, Business Finance; Courtney Furrey and Kelsey Hall, Business Law and Ethics Team Decision Making; Melissa Boniface, Food Marketing; Justin Metz, Human Resources Management.
