Historical society raises funds for VFW

VERNON — The Vernon Township Historical Society raised funds and donated them to the local VFW Post 8441.
The Historical Society, local girl scouts, and community members participated in the Clean Communities program to raise $500 for the VFW’s sewer hookup fees. Doreen Edwards of Highland Lakes, a trustee of the Historical Society, coordinated the event.
