Terrorists are not gentlemen

Recently, a CNN reporter referred to the massacring jihadists in Paris as the "gentlemen." What the heck is wrong with the media? Don't journalists even have a clue as to the definition of "gentlemen?" Webster's dictionary defines it as "a man whose conduct conforms to a high standard of propriety or correct behavior."

This twisted use of the English language isn't just limited to the media. Time and time again, police officials and prosecutors refer to murderers, arsonists, child molesters, and rapists as "gentlemen." Why do we need to use such endearing terms when speaking about enemies of humanity?

Presidents George Bush and Barack Obama often use the term "folks" when speaking of blood thirsty Taliban and 9-11 murderers .... as in, "we need to bring these folks to justice." No, sirs. When I think of "folks," I might think of a family in America's heartland who has me over for a meatloaf dinner and a slice of homemade apple pie. I certainly don't think of calling someone who cuts the heads off of innocent aide workers as "folks."

This political correctness nonsense is totally out of control. It is long past time that we put an end to it. The Islamic radicals are at war with us. To blindly believe that they are not will not make it so. We can go on treating them as if they are our friends while they continue to shoot us, blow us up, fly planes into our buildings and behead us. Or, we can do what every other generation of freedom-loving Americans have done. We can fight back, kill the enemy and defend our country and our way of life.
