Vernon resident wins prize from Lakeland Bank

OAK RIDGE — Lakeland Bank recently announced the winners of the Bank's Holiday Debit Card Sweepstakes program.

Lakeland Bank presented Britta Bergacs of Vernon with a $500 check in December and Linda Fragomeni of Branchville with a $1,000 check in January as winners of the bank's holiday sweepstakes program.

The Holiday Debit Card Sweepstakes ran from Nov. 28 to Dec. 31. All customers who used their debit card to make a point of sale purchase were eligible and automatically entered into the sweepstakes. On Dec. 5, Bergacs was randomly selected from the entries and won $500. On January 6, Fragomeni was randomly selected as the $1,000 grand prize winner from all qualified debit card transactions that occurred during the sweepstakes period.

"It was such a pleasure to hear that one of our newest customers won the sweepstakes from our branch and I was especially happy to credit the money to her account just before the holiday season," said Lakeland Bank Branch Manager Jennifer Hopper of the Vernon office. Bergacs became a Lakeland Bank customer earlier in 2014.

Fragomeni has been banking with Lakeland Bank for more than 25 years.
