Agnes E. 'Honey' De Heer

    Agnes E. "Honey" De Heer(nee Guterl), 83 years old, died unexpectedly in her home on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015. Born to Robert F. and Anna M. Guterl in Nyack, N.Y., she spent most of her life in Wayne, N.J., and then moved to Vernon Township to be closer to her family.

    Agnes worked as a secretary for Russ Berrie Toys in Wayne, N.J., for several years before retiring in 1993. She had a passion for nature and enjoyed feeding animals, shopping and travelling. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and wife.

    Honey was predeceased by her husband, Henry J. De Heer, in 2007 and her twin sister, Mary A. Bloor, in 2012. She was the devoted mother to Joyce Rich of Highland Lakes, N.J.; loving grandmother of Daniel Rich stationed with the US Navy in Jacksonville, Fla., Victoria Rich of Bethlehem, Pa., Rebecca Rich and Adam Rich at home. Cherished by several nieces and nephews.

    The family will receive their friends at Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, 241 Route 94(1 Vanderhoof Court for GPS), Vernon, NJ on Monday, Jan. 19, 2015, from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery, Vernon Twp., N.J.
