Marguerite 'Helen' Killion

    Marguerite "Helen" Killion, age 91, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015, at her home while surrounded by her loving children.

    Mrs. Killion had lived in Vernon for the past 42 years. She had been employed as the housekeeping supervisor with Lakeland Health Care Center in Haskell, then went to Oak Ridge Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Wayne, where she retired in September 1988.

    She was predeceased by her former husband, Walter W. Killion, on Dec. 18, 1996. Mrs. Killion is survived by her son, Kenneth Killion of Vernon; her two daughters, Donna Dill and her husband, Thomas, of Vernon and Sharon Meeks of Pa.; her two grandchildren, Army Specialist Jeremy Motz and his wife, Kiresten, of Newton and Heather Meeks of Pennsylvania.

    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 22, 2015 at the Pinkel Funeral Home, 31 Bank Street (Route 23), Sussex. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park in East Hanover. Friends may pay their respects to the family on Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2015, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
