High Point holds open house

SUSSEX BOROUGH — High Point Regional High School held an open house for eighth graders and their parents to see all the school has has to offer the students.

Tours of the building were given by the students every 5 minutes. On the tour, students and parents checked out the new science rooms, met with technology and business teachers in the media center, and met the fine arts teacher while watching a demonstration on the potters wheel.

The walls along the hallway to the fine arts wing are painted with murals done by past and present students, along with some ceiling tiles in the rooms.

Students held an activity fair in the cafeteria showcasing all the clubs students could join from science and technology to being drug free, the Monument school newspaper, book clubs, chorus,sports and more, showing there truly is something for everyone.
