Anthony William Laufnick

    Anthony William Laufnick, 70, passed away at his home on Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014. Born in England on Nov. 5, 1944, to the late John and Bertha Laufnick, Anthony, known as Tony, spent his school aged years in Sayreville, N.J., and graduated from Sayreville, High School in 1962. Following graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, and during his 6-year tenure, he learned his computer skill, which would lead him to a career at IBM. After 35 years with IBM, he retired and became a senior risk consultant for BIT Recovery Solution and Essextec. Tony loved sports and was an avid reader, particularly having a love for science fictions books.

    As a resident of Vernon since 1990, Tony is survived by his loving wife of 37 years Barbara, his children, David Laufnick, Stacy Laufnick, Anthony Laufnick, Amber Ryan and her husband Kenny, his brother Joseph Laufnick and wife Joan. He also leaves behind his three treasured grandchildren DaVon, Bailey, and Logan who were everything to him.
