Grace Mihalko

Grace Mihalko, 76, died Tuesday Jan. 6, 2015, at Newton Medical Center following a long illness. Mrs. Mihalko, daughter of the late Angelo and Rose (Bono) LaMarco was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., March 12, 1938. She has resided in the McAfee section of Vernon for the past 30 years.

Mrs. Mihalko was an administrator for Lakeland Bank having worked in many of their Sussex County branches over the years. She retired in 2003 from the Lafayette branch after 25 years of service.

Mrs. Mihalko is survived by her husband, George Mihalko; children, George M. Mihalko and his wife Nadine of Vernon, and Gina Fox and her husband, Brian, of Chatham; brother, Anthony LaMarco and his wife, Helen, of Hawley, Pa.; grandchildren, Liam and Kate Fox and Ryan and Alicia Mihalko.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015 at 9:15 a.m. from Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home 241 Rt. 94 (GPS use 1 Vanderhoof Ct.) Vernon to St. Francis de Sales RC Church, Vernon for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery.
