    Dec. 15
    Cody MacMillan, 50, of Wantage pleaded guilty to third-degree theft.

    Sentencing is scheduled for March 27.

    While an usher at the Lafayette Federated Church, the defendant would take checks deposited in the collection basket and deposit them into his personal account.

    Dec. 19
    Trevor A. Curren, 28, of Lafayette was sentenced to two years of probation.

    He was ordered to submit to a TASC evaluation and follow all recommendations made and obtain employment. He must pay fines and penalties of $1,205 and submit a DNA sample at his expense.

    He pleaded guilty on Oct. 20, 2014, to third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance. In July of 2014, the defendant was found to be in possession of six bags of Heroin in his vehicle.

    Dec. 22
    Shaun M. Cushman, 20, of Montague pleaded guilty to defrauding a drug test, a crime of the third degree.

    Sentencing is scheduled for March 6.

    In pleading guilty, Cushman admitted to using urine belonging to another person for a drug screening test he provided to the Sussex County Probation Department on May 22, 2014.

    Samantha Sica, 30, of Stanhope pleaded guilty to four counts of third degree conspiracy to commit burglary and one count of third-degree conspiracy to commit theft.

    Sentencing is scheduled for March 6.

    In September the defendant conspired with, and drove, her co-defendant to burglarize Banta Iron Works in Andover, Fredon Welding in Lafayette, and Keller Welding in Branchville. Various welding materials were taken from the businesses during the burglaries.

    Richard Sweller, 41, of Newton pleaded guilty to possession of a weapon, a second-degree crime, four counts of burglary, a third-degree crime and possession of a controlled dangerous substance, a third-degree crime.

    Sentencing is scheduled for March 27.

    The defendant admitted that during the timeframe of Oct. 27, 2013, and Nov. 5, 2013, he entered the homes of four residences in Newton and stole a handgun and property that had value in excess of $500. On a separate date, he admitted to being in possession of heroin.

    Michael Laborda, 26, of Hopatcong pleaded guilty to two counts of burglary, and one count of attempting burglary, all third-degree crimes.

    Sentencing is scheduled for Feb. 6.

    The defendant admitted that during the timeframe of Dec. 24, 2013, and Jan. 10, 2014, he entered the homes of two residences in Hopatcong and stole property that had a value in excess of $500. He admitted to attempting to burglarize another home on a separate date.

    Gary Deleeuw, 50, of Milford, Pa., pleaded guilty to third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance and fourth-degree driving with a suspended license as a result of a second or subsequent DWI.

    Sentencing is scheduled for Jan. 16.

    In April of 2013, police responded to a motorist in need of aid and the defendant was found to be intoxicated and was driving while suspended for a prior DWI. In September of 2013 the defendant was found to be in possession of Diazepam without a prescription while being served with arrest warrants.

    Alicia Grabowski, 24, of Whippany pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property, a third-degree crime.

    Sentencing is scheduled for March 6.

    The defendant admitted that she was in possession of property that she knew was stolen that had a value of $500.
