Alice E. Williams

Alice E. Williams, age 76, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014, at Shasta Regional Medical Center in Redding, California. Born in Hardyston to the late Amos and Alice (Smith) Zellers, Mrs. Williams lived in Sussex County most of her life and spent time in Redding, Calif., for the past 6 years. She had worked at the former Wallkill Valley Hospital and was also a private home health aide. Mrs. Williams had been a member of various senior citizen groups. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Donald Williams, on Oct. 26, 2007, and her brothers, Robert and Ernest Zellers. Mrs. Williams is survived by her two sons, Donald Williams of Blandon, Pa., and Ricky Williams of Severn, Maryland; her daughter, Lori Udina of Rockaway Twp.; her two brothers, Amos “Bud” Zellers of Florida and Donald Zellers of Vernon; her two sisters, Mildred Goss of California and Frances Milak of Franklin; nine grandchildren; and her companion, Benton Coker. Friends may pay their respects to the family on Saturday, January 17, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Wantage United Methodist Church, 199 Libertyville Road, Wantage, NJ 07461. Memorial services will immediately follow at 11 a.m.

at the church. A private burial at North Hardyston Cemetery will take place at the convenience of the family.
