    Crystal Card of Highland Lakes, Meghan Decoite of Vernon were named to the president's list at Berkely College for the summer 2014 quarter.

    Berkeley College students who achieve a grade point average of 4.00 with a minimum of 12 academic credits qualify for the president’s list.

    Frank Campos of Glenwood, Derek Newberry of Sussex Borough, Heather O'Brien of Sussex Borough and Christine Peraino of Vernon were named to the dean's list at Berkeley College.

    Students who achieve a grade point average of 3.50 or better with a minimum of 12 academic credits qualify for the dean’s list.

    Jenna Harper of Glenwood was named treasurer of the Student Government Association at Alvernia University.

    At the beginning of both the fall and spring semesters, elections are held for class representatives, senior class officers and executive board positions. To run for a class officer or class representative students must have at least a 2.5 GPA and be in good standing with community standards.

    In addition, club presidents represent the student body by serving as intermediaries between their respective groups and the Student Government Association.

    The Student Government Association works to increase student awareness and voice student concerns to both faculty and administration, build a solid foundation between the students and administration, provide active and diverse social atmosphere throughout the university community, and continuously support and fund student club and organization initiatives.

    Larissa Hoffman of Sussex Borough serves as a club officer at the University of Scranton, serving as treasurer of the Circle K International.

    She is a junior in the Kania School of management.

    James P. Doherty of Wantage has earned a bachelor of science degree in sports management and management from Alvernia University.
