Sandra L. Cochran

Sandra L. Cochran, 63, passed away at her home on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014. She was born in Paterson, N.J., on May 11, 1951, to Neil and Nancy (nee Olson) Vanderploog.

Sandra was a resident of Vernon Township. She was employed as a office manager in the Dental field and now was working as a Residential Specialist for the Sussex County Association for Retarded Citizens.

Sandra was predeceased by her brother Neil Vanderploog.

Sandra is survived by her loving husband of 41 years. John, and her children, Wendy Capp, Stephen Cochran, and Sarah Beth Weinberger, and her two cherished grandsons, Benjamin and Joshua.

Relatives and friends will be received at Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home 241 Rt. 94, Vernon (GPS use 1 Vanderhoof Ct.) on Tuesday 4-8 p.m. and are invited to attend services at the funeral home on Wednesday at 10 a.m., and interment services at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover, N.J.
