STOCKHOLM — Jefferson Township High School beat Vernon Township High School, 5-3, in ice hockey on Saturday, Dec. 6, at Skylands Ice World.
Nick Kwiecinski had a three-point night and Brian McCarthy scored two goals while Drew Becza and Ryan Tuttle added goals for Jefferson. Goalie Alex King made 28 saves in the cage for Jefferson.
Ray Zimmerman, Eric Loughren and Shawn Weigel each scored a goal for Vernon. Vernon goalie Matt Bennett made 38 saves.
