Local pups get photo op with Santa

VERNON — The Vernon Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary on Sunday offered pet photos with Santa at the Vernon Firehouse.
Although the focus was on pets and primarily dogs, quite a few family members were included in the production effort.
Repeating his performances of earlier years and dressed in red, was dog lover and Vernon firefighter Guy Kovalcik, who assisted Santa throughout the afternoon.
