    Leon E. Marsh, age 80, passed away on Friday, Nov. 28, 2014, at the Karen Ann Quinlan Home for Hospice in Fredon while surrounded by his loving family. Born in Franklin to the late Martin and Masie (Romer) Marsh, he had lived in Sussex County all of his life. He was an executive for the A&P Supermarket Corporation in Montvale for 45 years and had retired in 1996. Mr. Marsh was a member of the Crystal Springs Men’s Club, a member and former president of the Crystal Springs Homeowner’s Association, a member of the Glen Spey Rod and Gun Club, a member of the Big Buck Club in Maine, and a former member of the Port Jervis Country Club. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dolores (Snyder) Marsh; his son, Leon “Mickey” Marsh and his wife, Patricia, of Fredon; his two daughters, Melinda Marsh and her husband, Lowney Mincy, of Hamburg and Michelle Slate and her husband, John, of Wantage; his two brothers, Martin Marsh, III of Waretown and James Marsh of Honesdale, Pa.; and his four grandchildren, Nicole, Matthew, Gavin, and Logan. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2014, at the Pinkel Funeral Home, 31 Bank Street (Route 23), Sussex. Interment will follow at North Hardyston Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects to the family on Monday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
