    Bruce Manning, 54, passed away with his loving family members at his side on Friday, Nov. 28, 2014, at the Overlook Medical Center, Summit, N.J. Bruce was the son of the late Robert and Agnes Manning Sr. Bruce was born in Pompton Plains and was a resident of Haskell before moving to Highland Lakes 28 years ago.

    Bruce was employed at Media Com as an IT and computer analyst and prior employer was Toys R Us. Bruce was a member of the Holy Counselor Lutheran Church. He was an avid Mets fan, an amateur photographer, and reader of history.

    He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Catherine “Cathy”, and his two sons, Derek and Kyle Manning, and his two brothers, Bob Manning Jr. and his wife, Joanne, and Bill Manning and his wife, Sharon, and his sister, Maureen Nyman, and her husband, Chris, and many nieces and nephews.

    Relatives and friends will be received on Tuesday, Dec. 2 from 1-3 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home 241 Rt. 94, Vernon, NJ (use 1 Vanderhoof Ct. in GPS), and are invited to attend the funeral services on Wednesday, Dec. 3 at 10 a.m. at Holy Counselor Lutheran Church, 68 Sand Hill Rd., Sussex, N.J.
