With 20 years of experience in the business technology industry, Chris Ferrari decided it was time to open his own business.

Accomplitech on Newton Sparta Road in Andover Township is much more than a fix-it computer store and offers a variety of services appealing to many audiences.

“We are a modern tech services provider that is multi-faceted with a focus on small businesses and residences,” said Ferrari. “We emphasize education and development.”

Opened in October, Ferrari designed the interior of the shop with hip colors, modern white couches and a beautiful wood floor to reflect a comfortable space where people can relax and learn.

"Providing a social setting makes it more personal," said Ferrari.

Creativity is integral to Accomplitech’s agenda as it is part of “the maker movement” defined on techopedia.com as: “A trend in which individuals create and market products that are recreated and assembled using unused, discarded or broken electronic, plastic, silicon or virtually any raw material and/or product from a computer-related device.”

Development is also key to Accomplitech’s success — website, digital display, video camera and recording systems. Ferrari can personally tailor a client’s networking goals be it a small company or family.

Fredon Animal Hospital runs its practice using the expertise of Accomplitech which installed its network infrastructure and manages all software needs and maintains all the printers as well.

“In addition to handling all the technology related to the pharmacy, blood work and ultra-sound at Fredon Animal Hospital, we do a camera system that controls the entire network,” said Ferrari.

And he is also excited about tutoring opportunities for local residents from adolescents to seniors. Ferrari recently helped an older gentlemen go from an old computer to a new one — a service that he really enjoys providing.

Catering to community at affordable prices

“We have flexible pricing based on each scenario. There is a free consultation. If you call us, we want to get back to you," Ferrari said.

Ferrari adds that he has no interest in charging $100 a visit such as Best Buy’s Geek Squad.

He also has a vision to work closely with local schools, perhaps contributing to a robotics program that many high schools offer now. Having worked in IT for many years holding numerous IT certificates, he hopes to bring his corporate experience to a more local level.

Ferrari grew up in Sussex County where he still lives with his wife and two children. His roots have driven him to create Accomplitech as he now makes his living offering a personal touch and staying local.

“We have a facility that we can do more with like using our 3-D printer. We are totally community-minded at Accomplitech,” said Ferrari. “I love Sussex County — this is where I am from.”
