Area attorney hosts meeting in Paris

SPARTA — Paris P. Eliades, Esq., hosted the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Mid-Year meeting in Paris from Nov. 2-8 at the Le Grand Intercontinental Hotel.

The conference had record attendance. Eliades is president of the state Bar Association.

The meeting was attended by attorneys, judges and justices of the New Jersey Supreme Court and political leaders.

Seminars were conducted by leaders of the state’s legal community, including an analysis of the life of Joan of Arc by Justice Jaynee LaVechhia.

The Board of Trustees Gala Dinner also saw record numbers. The dinner was held in the hotel’s acclaimed Opera Ballroom. The guests were treated to music played by the band that performed at George Clooney’s wedding.
