The answer is yes and is based on the negotiation of the vehicle. If the dealer gives a huge discount there may be no room to help the customer should something go wrong. If you do buy a vehicle As-Is make sure you have a mechanic inspect it before you buy it. This way you can be prepared if the vehicle needs any repairs.
