For kids of all ages, some holiday traditions are as anticipated as waking early on Christmas morning to a find that jolly ole' St. Nick has tucked away some much wished for presents underneath the tree.

Choosing the perfect Christmas tree, and chugging along on a colorful holiday train ride and convincing Santa that you are on the "nice" list, may be three holiday season favorites.

The family tradition of tree shopping, a holiday-style train ride would be a welcome addition to the outing, Heaven Hill Farm will offer free train rides for children on Nov. 29, 30, and Dec. 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21 from noon until 4 p.m.

Children can visit with Santa Claus on Dec. 6, 7, 13, and from noon- 4 p.m. Enjoy the twinkling lights and animated singing bears and Santa's scene and complimentary candy canes given out by Santa himself. Photos with Santal also will be available.

The farm market and holiday gift shop has fresh doughnuts, holiday pies and great seasonal gifts for everyone. Oliver the Goose and author Leesa Beckmann will visit the farm on Dec. 13 and 14.
