Veterans visit Cedar Mountain school

VERNON — Mrs. Alongi, Mrs. Waleck and Mrs. Friedhoff’s fourth-grade social studies class at Cedar Mountain Primary School in Vernon Township learned the true meaning of Veteran’s Day through the eyes of two veterans.

Barry Douglass and Michael Culmone, parents of two of the students, in the class accepted the invitation to visit.

All students were very inquisitive and also inspired by the veterans responses to the many questions presented. After all questions were answered the students and guests were treated to a small reception.
