Open House planned at Lusscroft Farm

The annual Holiday Open House Benefit at historic Lusscroft Farm will be held on Saturday, Dec. 6 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 7, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The festively decorated Turner Mansion and the Manager's Dwelling filled with crafters, vendors, historical displays, a gift shop, bake sale and more. Entries in the Lusscroft Photography Contest will be on display and the awards presentation will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. Santa will pose with children and pets on Saturday from 1-4 p.m. and Sunday from 1-3 p.m. for $5 per photo.

Author Leesa Beckmann and Oliver, her Sebastopol Goose will charm children, as well as adults and her books about Oliver's adventures will be available for purchase. A 50/50 raffle will be held both days.

Lusscroft Farm is located at 50 Neilson Road & 4-H Trail, Wantage. An alternate entrance will be available on County Route 519 at mile marker 81 (by the stone gatehouse). Admission is $5 per adult, children under 18 are free. Proceeds raised are for ongoing restoration efforts at Lusscroft Farm, affiliated with High Point State Park. Presented by the non-profit Heritage and Agriculture Association, in cooperation with the N.J. DEP/Division of Parks and Forestry, working together to stabilize and restore this historic farm.
