Vernon graduate honored at Castleton

CASTLETON, VT. — Castleton student-athlete Mallory Costello, a graduate of Vernon Township High School, was recently named the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Women's Soccer Player of the Year.

Costello earned NAC Player of the Year honors for the second time in her career after leading the conference in points (20), goals (7) and assists (6) within conference play. Overall, she has 36 points on the year to lead the entire NAC, on 13 goals and 10 assists.

This is also marks her third straight NAC First-Team All-Conference selection.
