Glen Meadow to present holiday concerts

VERNON — Glen Meadow Middle School will present its holiday concerts on Tuesday, Dec. 2 and Wednesday, Dec. 3.

Both concerts will begin at 7 p.m. in the all-purpose room. In order to raise supplementary funds for its very active performing groups, there will be a free-will donation. All students younger than 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

On Tuesday, Dec. 2, the Glen Meadow Middle School Music Department will present the first half of its two-part Holiday Concert Series. Featured performing groups will be the bands under the direction of Ryan Sweer.

On Wednesday, Dec. 3, the Glen Meadow Middle School Music Department will present the second half of its two-part Holiday Concert Series. Featured performing groups will be the choir, under the direction of Eileen Pavlik, and the orchestra, under the direction of Rachel Whitty, will be presenting a variety of traditional holiday music.
