Vernon school board to meet Thursday

VERNON — The Vernon Township Board of Education will meet on Thursday, Nov. 20.
There will be a variety of useful and informative presentations ranging from an overview of the district's level of readiness for the next generation, PARCC assessments to student presentations by the high school's robotics team and the middle school's critical thinking class.
In addition, as the board finalizes preparation to potentially begin a solar energy project, a presentation will be given that outlines next steps.
