David L. MacIntosh, Jr.

    Highland Lakes, NJ; David L. MacIntosh Jr., 85, passed away at the Schervier Pavillion, Warwick, N.Y. on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014. He was the son of the late David L. Sr. and Cecile (nee Gorz) MacIntosh. Born in Ashland, Ohio, was a resident of Clifton, N.J., and for 50 years in Vernon, N.J. before moving to Warwick, N,Y.

    He was a WWII United States Marine veteran. He was employed as a land surveyor for the Gilpatrick Associates in Vernon, N.J., retiring many years ago. He was a state member of the American Legion, founder of Troop 92 Vernon “Boy Scouts of America”, and a lifetime member of the Vernon Volunteer Fire Dept.

    He was predeceased by his brother, Landis MacIntosh.

    He is survived by his brother, William MacIntosh, and his wife Florence of Bloomingdale, NJ, also survived by several nieces and nephews.

    Relatives and friends will be received on Friday, Nov. 21 at 10 a.m. with services at 11 a.m. at Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, 241 Rt. 94 Vernon, N.J. (use 1 Vanderhoof Ct. for GPS), interment services at North Hardyston Cemetery, Hardyston Twp. NJ.
