Mass held for veterans and their families

Now in his second year as Pastor of St. Francis de Sales Church, the Rev. Brian Patrick Quinn offered a Sunday mass for area veterans and their families.
Following the service all were welcome to sandwiches and dessert in the church's community room.

Members of the Wallkill Valley Chapter 1002 of the Vietnam Veterans of America had strong presence and good turnout at the service.
VERNON — St. Francis de Sales Church offered its sixth consecutive annual Veterans Mass to honor veterans and their family members.
The Mass was open to all veterans and their families, no matter where or when they served.
Now in his second year as Pastor of St. Francis de Sales Church, the Rev. Brian Patrick Quinn officiated the service, which near its close, offered a medley of the various service branch’s theme songs.
About 200 attended the service, which concluded with sandwiches and desserts in the church’s community room.
