The Sussex Wantage School District invites all parents and children between grades 6 and 12 to an interactive program that will educate students about the legal and social aspects of cyberbullying on Tuesday, Nov. 18, from 6:30 until 8 p.m.

Additionally, David Fallon, from Homeland Security will educate parents only on cyberbullying as well as current lingo, symbols and social media sites that could put children at risk for becoming a victim of cybercrime.

Two presentations will be held simultaneously, one for students and one for parents that allow for questions and conversations with professionals in the field of cyber safety. At the end of the program, time is allotted for parents and students to review the topic together while opening the lines of communication regarding this important topic. The workshop will be held at Sussex Middle School from 6:30-8 p.m. For more information, please contact Tina Thompson at The Center 973-383-4787 or email tina@centerforprevention.org.
