    Thomas C. Norton, 64, died on Sunday, Nov. 9, 2014, at his home. Mr. Norton was the son of the late Thomas and Madeline Norton and was born in Hoboken, N.J. on Dec. 1, 1949. He grew up in Jersey City and has been a resident of Highland Lakes the last 30 years.

    Mr. Norton served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was employed at the William Paterson University in Wayne for the Computer Support Department for many years retiring Nov. 1. He enjoyed music and kayaking.

    Mr. Norton is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Judith Norton, and his 2 daughters, Stacey Poulas and her husband, Lou, of Lake Hopatcong, Kelly Dowling of Roselle, and his three grandchildren, Madison Emily, and Asaad, and his 2 sisters, Arlene Flanagan and Janet Veltry.

    At Tom’s request please dress casual for his Memorial Visitation on Saturday, Nov. 15 from 2-4 p.m. at the Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home 241 Rt. 94, Vernon, NJ (use 1 Vanderhoof Ct. for GPS)
