    Desiree Mathews, 48, was chaged on two outstanding warrants after a motor vehicle stop.

    Police said one warrant was out of Vernon Municipal Court for $160 and the other was out of West Milford for $250 for a total of $410.

    Mathews posted bail and was released.

    Christopher Wynne, 32, of Hardyston was charged with eluding police, possession of drug parapheranlia and possession of stolen property and burglary and theft of a motor.

    Police said Wynne was stopped in a motor vehicle by the Teaneck Police Dept. and attempted to elude police. He was eventually stopped by state police in a Pontiac that was allegedly stolen. State police contacted Vernon Township because of an active warrant for burglary and tehft of a motor from Vernon.

    Police said detectives took Wynne into custody and sent him to the Sussex County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.

    Polie said Wynne also was charged with several other burglaries and thefts in Vernon, Wayne and New Milford.
