Vernon seniors attend Halloween party

VERNON — Nearly 100 Vernon seniors attended this year’s annual Halloween party held last Thursday at the Vernon Senior Center on Church Street.
The afternoon also included a costume contest and parade.
The winners this year were first-place winners Gloria and Fred Frato of Highland Lakes as characters from the play “Grease.” Marje McCann of Lake Panorama placed second as a scarecrow lady and Highland Lakes resident Phil Badu won third place as an outlaw biker.
