Fireworks planned at tree lighting

VERNON — Each year Vernon Township holds a tree lighting ceremony to kick-off the holiday season.

This year, the ceremony is scheduled to be held on Dec. 10 at the Vernon Township Fire hall on Route 515.

“The kids think it’s great and the parents do too,” Council Member Dick Wetzel said.

The firework display will be performed by Garden State Fireworks, Inc.
