Church plans clothing drive

VERNON — Our Lady of Fatima church in Highland Lakes will host a clothing drive on Thursday from 5-7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 24 from 5-7 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 25 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Organizers are accepting all gently-worn clothes, linens, curtains, paired shoes, pillows, stuffed animals, sheets, blankets, comforters, purses. Place all donated items in tied plastic garbage bags. All items go to countries in need and will not be used for rags.
