Association members hold annual 'rondy' at High Breeze

For nearly an entire week, members of the Garden State Black Powder Association (GSBPA) camped at High Breeze Farm on Vernon’s Wawayanda Mountain.

On Saturday and Sunday, the public was welcomed to their annual rendezvous or “Rondy.”

GSBPA members and their families where dressed as Americans did prior to the 1840s.

Activities included firing miniature mortars, shooting muzzle loading rifles, and throwing tomahawks and knives. Young girls washed the breakfast dishes the old fashioned way.
