    Danielle Kapetanakis, 33, of Hamburg was sentenced to three years in state prison and $155 in fines.

    She pleaded guilty on Aug. 18 to violating a previously imposed probation and to fourth-degree resisting arrest by flight.

    On July 2, in Andover Township, she ran from Andover Police Lt. Eric Danielson when he attempted to arrest her on an outstanding warrant.

    Robert Judd, 26, of Stockholm was sentenced to three years of probagtion with credit for three days served, complete 63 days on the home detention program with parole supervision for life applying in this situation.

    He must also register under Megan’s Law and forfeit his seized computer equipment containing the images.

    He pleaded guilty on July 24 to third-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child by Possessing Child Pornography.

    In 2013, an investigation ensued following information received concerning the distribution and downloading of child pornography. Investigation found Judd was downloading child pornography videos to his computer and making them available to others.

    Sept. 29
    Armando Salamanca, 26, of Newton pleaded guilty to the third-degree crime of distribution of a controlled dangerous substance. Sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 14.

    He admitted to distributing heroin in Newton on two occasions to an individual cooperating with the Sussex County Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Task Force.

    Daniel Stoll, 26, of Newton was sentenced to four years in state prison concurrent to his other charges, given credit for 262 days served in the Keogh-Dwyer Correctional Facility, submit a DNA sample at his own expense, one-year loss of his driver's licence, pay restitution int he amount of $4,414.85 to the victims and pay fines and penalties.

    Stoll admitted that he distributed heroin in the town of Newton, and stole an automobile in the township of Hampton.

    Brett L. Hosking, 28, of Hamburg pleaded guilty to the third-degree crime of receiving stolen property. Sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 7.

    On July 25, Hosking sold several half-dollar coins to a pawnshop in Franklin that he had stolen from a residence in West Milford Township. The matter was investigated by Franklin Police Detectives. N. Mattessich and R. VanderPloeg.

    Oct. 3
    Devyn Ryan, 18, of Vernon was sentenced to two years of probation. He was ordered to serve 30 days of home detention and pay joint and several restitution in the amount of $5,096. He must pay total fines and penalties of $155 and submit a DNA sample at his expense.

    He pleaded guilty on July 28 to eight counts of burglary, all crimes of the third degree. In pleading guilty, he admitted that on May 24 in Vernon he broke into seven cars and one trailer in and around the parking lot at Crystal Springs for the purpose of taking property from inside the vehicles.

    Christopher Mullen, 27, of Sparta was sentenced to three years off probation to run concurrent to any other probationary term he is serving. He was ordered to avoid any association with illegal substances or people known to use illegal substances and to pay joint and several restitution in the amount of $40. He must pay total fines and penalties of $1,205 and submit a DNA sample at his expense.

    He pleaded guilty on June 23 to possession of a controlled dangerous substance, a crime of the third degree. In pleading guilty, he admitted to assisting another individual in purchasing heroin that was seized on Sept. 9, 2013, during the course of a motor vehicle stop by Sparta Police Officer R. Smith.

    Alissa Nowak, 19, of Middletown, N.Y., was sentenced to two years of probation to run concurrent to any other probationary term she is serving. She must pay total fines and penalties of $1,205 and submit a DNA sample at her expense.

    She pleaded guilty on Aug. 4, 2014, to possession of a controlled dangerous substance, a crime of the third degree. In pleading guilty, she admitted to possessing 26 Xanax tablets without a prescription during the course of a motor vehicle stop by Officer L. Mendelsohn of the Byram Township Police Department on June 2.
