Friends of High Point park to sponsor cooking demonstration

SUSSEX BOROUGH — The Friends of High Point State Park are sponsoring an open hearth cooking demonstration on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the High Point State Park Interpretive Center.
The Friends of High Point State Park will prepare a seasonal feast on the open hearth with sample tastings of soups, meats, sides, and desserts that have all been cooked fireside. Seasonal activities for children will be offered.
The event is free, but a suggested donation of $5 per family is appreciated.
