Skylands to host haunted stadium

    Skylands Stadium will be be transformed into Scarelands Stadium during any weekend in October.

    The stadium will feature terrifying coaches, an evil team owner and a field full of demonic zombie players.

    Scare-seekers can come face to face with the “undead” at the stadium, 94 Championship Place in Augusta, starting on Friday, Oct. 3 through Saturday, Nov. 1. The haunt is open 7 p.m. to midnight, rain or shine, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The final weekend, the haunted attraction will be open Thursday through Saturday, Oct. 30, 31 and Nov. 1.

    Tickets will cost $15 and may be purchased at the door. A $3 off general admission coupon will be available at local businesses in Morris, Sussex, Bergen, Passaic and Essex counties. The coupon will also be available for download at www.SkylandsStadium.com and at www.StateScare.com. Coupons can be used either for individuals, or for groups that enter together; every member of the group must be present to use the coupon.
