Motorcycle run planned at Skylands Stadium

    The Forever Friends Motorcycle Awareness Foundation bike run and fundraiser is scheduled for oct. 17, beginning at Skylands Stadium, located at 94 Championshp Drive.

    The event is to honor Mark Khoury and Jeremy Ramirez, who were both killed in motorcycle crashes in 2010.

    The cost will be $20 for adults and $10 for kids ages 5-12. Chidren younger than 5 are free.

    Proceeds from the fundraiser will go to Motorcycle Awareness Education in high schools, scholarships, Forever Friends Awards, Fire & EMS, financial aid for injured riders and families of fallen riders.

    Registration will bbe in the parking lot from 9-11 a.m. Kickstands up at 11:30 with a return to the stadium about 9-11 a.m. Kickstands up at 11:30 a.m. with a return to the stadium about 1:30 p.m. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. with food vendors and a tricky tray until about 6 p.m.
