Walnut Ridge offers harvest breakfast

VERNON — The Walnut Ridge Primary School held a Fall Harvest Breakfast/Open House on Saturday.

“We’re showcasing our freshly painted hallways with the new art work painted by local artist Art Frisbie,” Principal Rosemary Gebhardt said,

The schools is often referred to as “The Little School with the Big Heart.”

There were also tours of the school’s new library that includes cutouts of trees and even a tree house, and the computer lab. Teachers also were running informational sessions on literacy and math and there were a variety of other activity stations inside and out including recruiting stations for the Vernon Girl Scouts and the Vernon PAL.
