Great Pumpkin Festival planned at Heaven Hill Farm

VERNON — Heaven Hill Farm will host pumpkin picking starting Sept. 200 and running through Oct. 31, including Columbus Day.

The farm also will be open Wednesday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.

The Great Pumpkin Festival, where families can go on hay rides to the Pumpkin Patch to pick the perfect pumpkin and spend the day enjoying all the Fall festivities such as getting lost in the all-new “All American Train Corn Maze Adventure” and play Maize Quest games and get pop-pit clues to find their way out.

There also will be pig races, farm animals, carnival rides*, Pedal-Go-Carts, Milk “Maggie” the play cow, obstacle Course, Spider Web Crawl, high striker post pounder, Tether ball, Monster sling shot, Gem-Mining, face painting, sand art, pony Rides and much more fun activities for all ages.
