    Marissa Harper of Glenwood recently graduated from Quinnipiac University School of Health Sciences.

    In addition to receiving her bachelor's of science degree in Health Sciences with cum laude Honors, Harper obtained professional certification and licensing as an athletic trainer, after passing her certification exams in April 2014. While at Quinnipiac University, Harper has been a consistent dean's list recipient and she was selected as the Athletic Training Department's MVP award winner for 2013-2014.

    Leading up to the Spring 2014 Commencement ceremonies for the School of Health Sciences and School of Nursing, Harper was selected by Quinnipiac University's administration, to provide the Student's Response Address, a position of speaking to the gathered university administration, graduates, family and friends during the commencement ceremonies.

    Harper is currently interning at the University of Virginia and at Quinnipiac University as an athletic trainer before starting her Doctorate of Physical Therapy graduate program at Quinnipiac University in the fall.

    Taylor Marie Torppey of Wantage recently graduated from Wheaton College.

    She completed with a bachelor of arts deegree in business/economics.
