Nearly three-dozen members of Vernon Girl Scout Troop 94682 and the Vernon Girl Scout Service Unit came out last Thursday evening to honor those who selflessly serve the township and to remember the fallen of 9/11.

The 9/11 Day of Remembrance was held at the Veteran’s Memorial Park on Vernon Crossing Road and included the presentation of plaques to all of the township’s Fire Departments, Ambulance Squads, Police Department, military servicemen and women and veterans. The evening included a candlelight vigil by the gazebo.
